The most common need for IR extension is bridging a short gap from your A/V equipment to a closet, cabinet, entertainment center or behind the TV. The GhostIR is the perfect solution, with its paper thin 1ft. cable it is ideal for going through thin gaps in cabinets and closets, allowing you to control devices behind doors without the mess of adding additional power cables.
It uses very little power so the battery charge will last up to 12 months and is easy to recharge when needed.
How it works
- Expose the adhesive tape on the IR emitter block, and mount it to the inside of the door cabinet door pointing to the A/V device you wish to control.
- Expose the adhesive on the the IR receiver, and place it on the outside of the cabinet door.
- Make sure that the IR receiver is in the "line-of-sight" of the remote control.
