Patent-Pending V-Lock Technology

V-Lock Technology

Strike Plugs use patent-pending V-Lock Technology that gives you an incredibly fast and secure connection. When it comes to cable termination, sound quality is most affected by surface area contact. You want to get all strands of the speaker wire to connect with your equipment. V-Lock Technology incorporates a cone inside the banana plug that spreads the wires out as you push the cable in. This gives you maximum surface are contact without any extra effort.

Quick and Easy Install

Not only does V-Lock Technology give you a more secure, higher quality connection, it also makes it extremely quick and easy to install your banana plugs. Each plug can be installed in a matter of seconds.

How to Install Strike Banana Plugs

How to Install Strike Banana Plugs
  • Unscrew the bottom of the plug about half way.
  • Feed the bare conductor of the speaker wire through the hole in the bottom of the plug.
  • Keep pressing the wire into the banana plug until you can’t push it any farther to ensure a good connection.
  • Screw the back of the banana plug back down to clamp down on the wire and give a secure termination.
  • Smallest Premium Banana Plug

    Smallest Premium Banana Plug

The final aspect we wanted to address with the Strike Plugs is size. Many banana plugs are about 2 inches long. The Strike is less than 1.5 inches long, and less than half of that length will actually be extending out of your equipment once the Strike is plugged in. That makes the Strike the smallest premium banana plug out there, giving you the cleanest looking termination possible and allowing you to put your equipment as close to the wall as you need to.

    What Are Banana Plugs?

Today, many electronics use the banana plug interface, also known as binding post (referring to this connection in its female form). This female binding post connection that accepts this banana plug is found commonly on virtually all audio/video receivers, speaker wall plates, and more.

Banana plugs offer an alternative to inserting a bare speaker wire into the equipment. Often a bare speaker connection is not as reliable as a guaranteed banana plug connection. Wires tend to get pulled out or frizzy after time passes. Banana plugs require only one install, giving you a permanent and robust connector at the end of your speaker wire.

Pros: The banana plugs work fine. I was the packaging that was the problem. They were shipped in an envelope not a box. The package arrived crushed with 1 of the negative plugs broken. The plugs work just fine. They worked as advertised.

    Cons: on the plugs: none

Other: You are supposed to send me 1) negative strike banana plug. When will I get it?

    Strike Banana Plugs

    Joe - 11/26/2017 8:33:47 AM

First time I ever used a banana plug. I had cable ranging from about 14 gauge up to 'monster' cable, and got a 14-pair pack. Making them up was SO easy, I almost wished I had more to do! I got them ALL installed without any difficulty, and all done in about an hour. They got rid of my amps' periodic cutout, so I must have had a stray wire before I used these plugs. SO simple, SO nice. GREAT product!
