HD-Link HL14, 1x4 HDMI Splitter over Cat5e/6, 200ft.
This 1x4 HDMI Splitter and Extender kit lets you split one HDMI signal to four displays using cat5e/6 cable. It allows you to extend the signal up to 200ft. (Due to interference from the environment, and the quality of cat5/6 cable used the actual distance may vary)
How it works
This kit comes with one sender unit and four receiver units.
- Simply connect one to four receiver units to the sender with Cat5e/6 cable.
- Connect your HDMI cables from the sender and receiver units to their respective display or source device.
- Plug in the included power supplies. Pick up some USB to Barrel Connectors if you would like to power it from the display (remember, a 5V 1A USB port on the display is required).
- Your HDMI extension is now ready.
I have used multiple sewell splitter extenders and they have all worked great. I do however up that a 4K model is in the works for this type of unit.
We have installed several of these over the past 2 years in classrooms which possess multiple displays. To this point, there have been 0 issues with their continual operation. The have not required any support what so ever. We are running 4 75" TVs to them, runs are between 50-100'. Again, 0 issues thus far.
Deployed in a restaurant. Has been running for 2 weeks now without issue. Input is a digital signage media player (ARM Linux based) output to 4 55" LG commercial displays. Longest run is 150 ft.
Can't attest to the longevity, but it has worked as expected so far.
Product works great
We have installed two 75” tv monitors in our sanctuary at church through 150’ cat6 cables using the HL14 1x4HDMI Splitter. It worked flawlessly the first time and was simple to install. So far, great product.
