This 1x4 HDMI Splitter and Extender kit lets you split one HDMI signal to four displays using cat5e/6 cable. It allows you to extend the signal up to 200ft. (Due to interference from the environment, and the quality of cat5/6 cable used the actual distance may vary)

How it works

This kit comes with one sender unit and four receiver units.

  1. Simply connect one to four receiver units to the sender with Cat5e/6 cable.
  2. Connect your HDMI cables from the sender and receiver units to their respective display or source device.
  3. Plug in the included power supplies. Pick up some USB to Barrel Connectors if you would like to power it from the display (remember, a 5V 1A USB port on the display is required).
  4. Your HDMI extension is now ready.

HD-Link HL14, 1x4 HDMI Splitter over Cat5e/6, 200ft.

Not reaching 200ft

Pros: The unit looks neat.Cons: Mine didn't reach not even 175ft over CAT5e.Other: I really wish this worked, so I wouldn't have to shed twice the $$$ for a different brand... :(

sorry that's not working for you. If you are having problems at 175 feet, there might be too much intererence in the cable run, or an issue with the cable, or you might have a faulty sender/receiver. We can get you a replacement to try to isolate the issue.

Motorhome Install

Pros: The splitter arrive fast and was a drop in replacement for the failed unit of another brand. This install was into my Class A Motorhome with three TVs. I could not get at all of the HDMI Receivers without significant tear down of the Motorhome. So I simply replaced the HDMI Splitter with the new Sewell unit and it worked perfectly with the existing other brand receivers. I am saving the Sewell receivers for backups down the road. Cons: The Sewell HDMI Splitter has only 4 Cat 6 Outputs with not HDMI outputs. The unit I replaced had one pass thru HDMI output that fed the TV local to the equipment bay. This caused me to purchase an HDMI to HDMI splitter to complete my install.Other: It would be nice to have seen a compatibility guide for the unit up front such that I would have known it would work with other brand receivers.
