With a standard 9-pin Dsub at one end and a NMEA compatible 5-pin connector at the other, this 30 cm cable connects the Kvaser Leaf v3 or any CAN interface to equipment using the NMEA compatible connector, typically a marine electronics system. Several years ago when I started to rewire my 5.1 Home theater I knew that I had to replace the terrible banana plugs that my installer used to connect the speakers to the AV receiver. I researched a number of options and decided on Sewell’s Deadbolt banana plugs. They are simplicity itself. And once installed they provide a very secure connection. Most recently I used them to simplify connections in a very simple stereo set-up in my finished basement. Again, simple to install and simple to plug in to my receiver. The Deadbolt banana plug is a great plug at a terrific price.
