Overview

NOTE: Typically this converter can only be used to stream video signals from computers, tablets, and cameras. It does not have HDCP pass-through, meaning content with a digital copyright cannot be viewed using this device. This generally includes content from DVDs, blu ray discs, cable boxes, and other copyrighted material.

The Mini HDMI to VGA Converter allows you to convert a digital HDMI signal into an analog VGA signal in high-definition (HDMI cable, VGA cable, and audio cable not included). This converter will also separate the audio from your HDMI so it can be routed wherever you need it with a 3.5mm analog audio cable. This converter allows you to view HDMI content on your VGA monitor, HDTV, projector, and much more.

Pros: It works just fine. Since the majority of projectors that I run into are VGA, this is still a must have for my HP Folio that only has HDMI

Question:

Would this box support a hdmi signal input of 1080p @ 24hz and convert the signal to a pc monitor output 1080p @ 60hz


Answer:

Yes it will, but bear in mind this only applies to signals that are not copyrighted and encrypted with HDCP (such as cable box signals, blu ray discs, YouTube/Netflix, etc.). If you're planning on using it with a computer, tablet, camcorder, etc. it will work fine.
