With a standard 9-pin Dsub at one end and a 9-pin J1939-13 Type II compliant CAN connector at the other, this 30 cm cable connects the Kvaser Leaf v3 or any CAN interface to a heavy-duty vehicle. An in-house designed compact J1939-13 connector attaches to the cable with extra strong strain relief, allowing the cable to bend easily to 90 degrees.
Not always clear what devices you need to build a system
I think putting every thing you need from start to finish would be simpler. In my case I ordered more than I needed to make sure I had everything I needed. I had duplicate items but at minimal cost. No big deal but the items required could have been shown more clearly.
