The Kvaser Mini PCIe 1xCAN FD over USB (01368-1) adds CAN/CAN FD functionality to any standard computer. This board supports CAN FD up to 8 Mbit/s and error frame generation. Features include a high time stamp resolution of 1 µS, a wide CAN bitrate of 20 kbit/s to 1 Mbit/s and a message rate of 20,000 msg/s. A key advantage is support for USB 2.0 in a Mini PCI Express socket, making this an ideal choice when there are competing peripherals for the PCI Express lane.

The right product for the right price
Ordered a set of the right angle and a set of the straight banana plugs for my stereo. Used the straight on the back of the receiver and the right angle on the speakers.

Several years ago when I started to rewire my 5.1 Home theater I knew that I had to replace the terrible banana plugs that my installer used to connect the speakers to the AV receiver. I researched a number of options and decided on Sewell’s Deadbolt banana plugs. They are simplicity itself. And once installed they provide a very secure connection. Most recently I used them to simplify connections in a very simple stereo set-up in my finished basement. Again, simple to install and simple to plug in to my receiver.
