The new Flex Pin Deadbolt Banana Connectors give you all of the benefits of Banana Plugs for your legacy style receivers and speakers.
Standard Banana Plugs won’t work with Spring Clip Terminals. Many old receivers and speakers and some new speakers and receivers use this type of terminal shown below. Our Flex Pin Deadbolt Banana Connectors are designed to work with these spring clip terminals.
Flex-Pin Deadbolt Benefits
- Protects your Speaker Wire: The Flex Pin Deadbolts protect the ends of your speaker wire from being destroyed by strong spring clip terminals
- Provides a strong reliable connection: The Gold plated weave gives you the highest possible sound quality
- Allows you to connect higher gauge wire to skinnier terminals. Many high quality speaker wires are too thick to fit into Spring Clip terminals. The Deadbolt Flex Pins let you use speaker wire up to 10 AWG in thickness with these smaller terminals.
Installation
- Strip the cable at least 1/2"
- Unscrew the Dealbolt flex pin's head
- Insert cable through
- Fold Down wires
- Re-screw the Deadbolt Flex Pin's Head

Kimberly I needed to rewire my stereo system in order to upgrade to a better speaker wire. I found these pins to be very useful in connecting to the clips on the back of two of my speakers and my receiver. They were easy to use and worked great! No more struggling to try to cram reluctant wire into the connections. The sound on my system is now awesome! Definitely recommend these plugs, they're very high quality!

JOHN If you are like me, you may have modern Jodi speakers with fat guage speaker wires that don’t fit old vintage connectors. Well these from Sewell did the trick
I did have to whittle my bi-wire cables down to about 10guage thickness to fit my Pioneer SA-9900 connectors, but once they were in…BOOM!
Thank you!!

susan m swoboda Sewell Deadbolt Flex Pin Banana Plugs work great! They make installation of wires into spring loaded speaker terminals so much easier. They make any frustration when installing the wires into the stereo receiver.

Basil R Bhan (2804bhan) It's the only way to go for connecting to Spring-Clip type Terminals. Beware, though, body of each plug can short if Positive/Negative pairs are too close to each other. I had to wrap insulating tape around body to isolate these plugs.
