If you don't like reading lengthy articles, or just want a nice big chart that will show you what you need to connect your computer to your TV without those long, boring descriptions then look no further! This chart has four columns, and is about as simple as I could make it. Here's a description of each column:

  • PC: The connection you have on the PC.
  • TV: The connection you want to use on your TV.
  • Standard TV: This is what you need if you have a standard definition TV.
  • HDTV: This is what you need if you have a high definition TV.

Just one quick note: these converters are for video only, so you'll need an audio cable (such as this: Mini Stereo to Dual RCA Cable) along with the appropriate video converter if you want to run both audio and video to your TV. Ok, now that we've gotten that out of the way, let's get started...
