What sets these banana plugs apart is the unique dual-screw lock design. This connection will secure your cable more than a single-screw or open-screw design. Dual-screw connectivity provides a secure connection, durability, and a clear signal transmission through the added contact. Silverback Banana Plugs accommodate up to 10 AWG speaker wire.
Easy to install:
- Unscrew the casing to reveal the inner barrel.
- Loosen the two small screws to make room for your speaker wire.
- Slide the casing down the speaker wire before terminating the wire to the inner barrel.
- Feed the speaker wire into the inner barrel of the banana plug.
- Tighten the screws to secure the speaker wire.
- Screw the outer casing back over the inner barrel.

Ronald Brown The only issue I ran into with using 12awg spkr wire is that the set screws were to long and stuck out. So I had to grind them down to fit the aluminum covers over them. I had the straight silverback on before and didn't have this issue at all. After I looked at the straight silverbacks ,then the right angle silverbacks I noticed that the tubes (w/set screws) on the right angle plugs are smaller in diameter than the tubes(w/set screws) on the straight plug. So I only gave a 3 star rating since I should have never had that issue.
You make a good product, but this is disappointing and has me
considering other brands for future banana plug purchases.

Richard Chess These banana plugs work well. They hold onto 14 guage speaker wire nicely. The only thing that is dissapointing is that the screwdriver that was included had a deformed head so I had to use the screwdriver included in my straight silverback pack.
