Use an IR emitter in conjunction with other equipment (such as an IR Repeater Kit or Entertainment Device) to control your A/V equipment that is hidden away out of "line-of-sight".
Since most remote controls that come with TVs and A/V equipment use Infrared (IR) signal, they require "line-of-sight" to operate. This emitter, along with an IR Repeater Kit allows you to put your video sources (DVD player, Blu-ray player, DVR, etc) out of sight so you can have a clean-looking setup.

My Sewell IR Emitter and Blaster have worked flawlessly from day one. Even though my cable control box is in my basement I can control my channel selection from my second floor bedroom!
