Sewell AirStick™ Microsuction Tape makes it easy to secure and reposition objects without traditional sticky adhesive. Thousands of microscopic air pockets create a temporary suction bond.
Unlike ordinary double-sided tape, AirStick features a reusable microsuction surface that can be cleaned and used repeatedly.
Why Choose AirStick?
-
Reusable Grip: Can be used/repositioned multiple times without losing grip strength. If your tapes loses some of its bonding power, simply wipe it with a damp cloth to remove the dust and the microsuction will regain its strength.
-
Removes Cleanly: Using microscopic suction pockets rather than traditional adhesive means no residue is left behind when Airstick is removed.
-
Strong Holding Power: Once in place a 4” x 1” piece of AirStick™ tape can hold one pound of weight
-
Works On Many Smooth Surfaces: holds well on painted walls, metal tile, glass, laminate, finished wood, and painted concrete. Porous textured, or dirty surfaces will reduce holding strength.
-
Thin Profile: Just 0.5 mm thick.
-
No Tools Required: no tools required to mount products using Airstick mounting strips
How AirStick Works
AirStick combines two different surfaces
Reusable microsuction: Thousands of microscopic suction pockets grip smooth, nonporous materials without sticky adhesive.
Acrylic adhesive backing: Attaches the AirStick material to your mounting base for a more permanent installation.

Troubleshooting
Airstick is designed to work on smooth non porous surfaces. It may not adhere well to textured surfaces.
We've found AirStick to stick well to most glossy paints and some semi-gloss paints. Matte paint tends to be too porous for the AirStick to create good air seal for it's tiny suction pockets. Make Sure that your paint is freshly cleaned to maximize the sticking power of the AirStick.
Dust and dirt can easily interfere with AirStick adhesion. Make sure that both your surface and the AirStick are clean of dust before placing the AirStick.
As with any suction cup, slight pressure when installing will help to create a better vacuum seal for the AirStick.
