How to Re-map USB Joystick Buttons

Sometimes when you get a device like the Mayflash USB Joystick Arcade Style Game Pad the buttons are programmed as they should be or you may want to reorder them but it can be difficult to figure out how to do so. This simple step by step guide will show you exactly where you need to go to adjust these settings within the computer.

Go into Control Panel and find the Game Controllers icon and Double click it to open it.

Control Panel_Game Controllers Icon

You will then see this window appear:

Game Controllers Menu

Select the Mayflash Arcade Stick and select Properties. You will then see this window:

Arcade Stick Properties

Then select Re-map and you will see:

Re-mapping Menu

Yours will probably look different than the image above when it comes to the corresponding numbers because that is how I set mine after I re-mapped the buttons. But set it up to look like the picture above. I did that and then clicked okay and went back to the image before it and all of the appropriate buttons lit up. Good luck.
