Several years ago when I started to rewire my 5.1 Home theater I knew that I had to replace the terrible banana plugs that my installer used to connect the speakers to the AV receiver. I researched a number of options and decided on Sewell’s Deadbolt banana plugs. They are simplicity itself. And once installed they provide a very secure connection. Most recently I used them to simplify connections in a very simple stereo set-up in my finished basement. Again, simple to install and simple to plug in to my receiver. The Deadbolt banana plug is a great plug at a terrific price.
Worked like a charm. Replaced an older version splitter that did not support 4k. Happy with the purchase
I was in a hurry. I saw the photo of the wire and the adapters. I ordered it. THe wire came but no adapters. I sent a note to customer service and they said, "Oh, the adapters are extra and we are out of them." I am stuck with useless flat wire. A good customer service person would have said, I can back order those for you. or We are sorry for the confusion, we'll ship them at no cost. But no, nothing like that. And now you want a positive review from me? Surely, you're joking.
I needed the plugs on time and instead was stressed to the max by them being sent to a wrong address when my address is the ONLY address in my profile! I also wonder why I am (no doubt) paying for a screwdriver with every shipment? I have my own professional screwdrivers, and I am forced to throw out at least one supplied screwdriver with every shipment. Time to look at other suppliers methinks!

The order process was simple, shipping was fast and the product works great.
I recently contacted CS regarding an issue I had with Silverback banana plugs. They recommended I switch to Deadbolts and offered to exchange so I went for it. They had the replacement Deadbolts in the mail before I got the silverbacks back to them. Deadbolts are simple to use and make very secure connections, they'll now be my first choice for future cabling requirements.
Sewell Deadbolt Flex Pin Banana Plugs work great! They make installation of wires into spring loaded speaker terminals so much easier. They make any frustration when installing the wires into the stereo receiver.
