How long is the Warranty?
As of 3/1/2022, ALL MOS Cables carry a 2-year warranty from the purchase date. Cables purchased before 3/1/2022 still have their Lifetime Warranty as long as the cable type and length are still available; for example, USB A to Micro USB 6 ft. Legacy cable types and lengths, such as a USB A to Lightning 3 ft, that are no longer available for purchase will not have replacements provided. Instead, for Legacy cables, a discount will be offered towards the purchase of a new cable that is available.
For all cables, a replacement will be sent if available. If one is not available, a refund may be obtained within the 2-year warranty period. Beyond 2-years from the purchase date, only a replacement will be offered if purchased before 3/1/2022.
Warranties on all replacements follow the same warranty timeframe of the original defective item. Warranties on cables are void after having been fully refunded.
What does the Warranty cover?
The Warranty covers all functional aspects of the cable under normal use. Only original, unaltered and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by the Warranty.
What does the Warranty not cover?
Any problem caused by abuse, misuse, pets, exposure to excessive heat, liquids, sand or other contaminants or an act of God, such as but not limited to flood, drought, earthquake or any other natural disaster is not covered. The Warranty does not cover the replacement of lost or stolen cables.
How do I make a Warranty claim?
To setup a claim we’ll need proof of purchase (sewelldirect.com, mosorganizer.com, Amazon, etc.) and a description of the issue sent to us.
Do I need to send the cable back first?
Yes, due to some customers taking advantage of our lenient policy in the past, we now require the cables be sent back for inspection prior to a replacement being sent out.
How long until I get my replacement?
Warranty claims follow our returns process.
