Description

Economically and solidly extend your RS-232 serial device up to 1000 feet away from your computer over Cat5 cable.

The RS-232 Extender from Gefen is easy to install. The sender unit attaches to your computer with the included 6 foot serial cable and is powered by a 5V external power supply. One tidy CAT5 cable runs from the sender unit to the receiver, which can be a maximum of 1000 feet away, where you attach your serial device. One single power supply powers both the sender and receiver units.
