The controller comes with ICS and National Instruments style 488.2 drivers and will work with IEEE 488.1 and 488.2. This is the updated 488-USB2 which lets you use USB 2.0 technology to maximize your GPIB controlling speeds and gives you a smooth 1 Mbyte per second transfer rate.
The controller is compatible with Windows 98 Second Edition, Me, 2K, and XP and commands ICS, NI 488, and NI 488.2 standards. The adapter includes a USB input with a 24-pin GPIB output. It also includes a keyboard controller program for Windows which provides you with interactive control of GPIB devices without needing to write your own program.
The controller could not be easier to set up. Simply install the included drivers and plug in the device to any avaialable USB 1.1 or 2.0 port. The easy-to-use GPIB AnyWhere software is included, letting you control your GPIB devices over the internet or your LAN.
