Description

The FastLynx serial cable is 10 feet long and is red in color.   It is a 3-headed cable with a 9-pin female connector on one end and both a 9-pin and 25-pin female connector on the other.  The 9-pin connector plugs into a serial port on newer PCs.  The 25-pin connector plugs into a serial port on older PCs. 

Electrically, it is a full 7-wire null-modem cable.  These cables work with many file transfer program or communications programs that use standard serial ports.  They can also be used with many multi-player games that support serial port connections.
