Description

The Serial ATA to IDE Converter allows you to connect an IDE hard-drive, CD drive, or a DVD drive to a serial ATA port. The converter meets the Serial ATA 1.0 specification.

The SATA to IDE converter is powered by the SP4 internal power connector (floppy drive power connector). If you don't have an extra SP4 power connector coming from the power supply, you can get our internal power splitter, which plugs into the four-pin power connector and gives you an SP4 connector and one regular LP4 power connector (hard drive power connector).
