Get your Wii and/or your PS3 on a
VGA monitor or HDTV with this cable adapter.
Since you have to configure the resolution of your game play on your game console, the cable also comes with the green RCA cable. This is a black and white signal that you can use on any TV with composite inputs (so you will be plugging this green RCA cable into the yellow RCA port on your TV in order to handle the first step of set-up... see the video above). You can configure your desired resolution on a TV before playing on your VGA Monitor/HDTV. This option is given because if the resolution is causing you not to be able view the full resolution menu on your VGA display, you can configure it on a normal TV first.
The cable also provides Right/Left audio RCA connectors for stereo sound.
Please note: When using this cable with a Wii you will need to set your Wii to output 480p resolution (default setting is 480i) or the screen will flicker.
