The converter is powered by a standard SP4 internal floppy drive power connector, and includes a power slot for the Serial ATA drive.

This converter is Serial ATA 1.0 compliant. In addition, this converter allows you to make your Serial ATA drive bootable. The IDE to Serial ATA Converter has a one-year warranty.
