Take component video (aka YPbPr or RGB) and combine it with audio for an integrated high definition audio/video signal ready for your HDMI television with this converter.
How This Works
One end of the adapter has component video inputs (red, green, and blue RCA), as well as audio inputs (red and white RCA for analog audio as well as black RCA for digital audio - SPDIF). Connect your component source to this side. With the SPDIF option you will be able to inject up to 5.1 channel surround sound into your HDMI line. Otherwise you can just use stereo audio from any analog RCA source and inject that seemlessly into the HDMI signal with this converter.
The other side of the adapter is HDMI out which goes directly to your HDMI display. This adapter does not go both ways, it only converts component RCA to HDMI, not HDMI to component.
