Pros: VERY easy to set up.
Cons: None.
Other: I do transcription and had a foot pedal that connected using the game port -- my new computer did not have a game port. The purchase of this adapter cable was definitely A LOT cheaper than having to get a new USB transcription pedal. It was incredibly easy to install and my pedal works just as perfectly as before!!

Pros: This adapter worked well with my V3 steering wheel in Windows Vista Home. The setup was very easy. I connected the wheel to the adapter before connecting it to the computer and windows automatically installed the drivers.
Cons: None -- The game worked equally well as using an internal game port.

Pros: Easy purchase procedure, received item promptly, technical support was helpful
Cons: Item did not work with my MS Sidewinder joystick

I have a Gravis Xterminator that I want to run on Vista. Will this do the trick if I have the drivers disk as well?
Answer:
Yes, as long as the device itself doesn't utilize any force-feedback functions (i.e. vibrating controller), it should work fine.

I have Thrust-Master Rudder Control System with Y-cable - one end to joystick and other end 15 pin plug to PC. (on old computer it went into the primary connector on game card Will this work on Acer - only USB ports ?
