Overcome USB's 16 ft limit with this 65 ft extension cable with a built-in active repeater for USB 2.0 signals. With a maximum transfer rate of 480 mbps, this cable is a great way to transfer data over unusually long distances. It features a male USB connector on one side and female on the other and so works perfectly as an intermediary between cable runs.

Looking for a shorter but similar solution? Try our 33 ft USB 2.0 Active Extension Cable for half the length.

Looking for a longer solution? Try the U-Link USB 2.0 over Cat5 Extender for 200 ft of extension using inexpensive and tidy Ethernet cable.

Note: This length of extension cable does not work with the Xbox Kinect, when we have tested it with the Xbox Kinect, it would only work with the 16 ft. length.

Pros: easy to install

Cons: after using this cable with a Logitech C310 running continuously for about a week, the webcam can not be detected any more. at first I thought it was the webcam, turned out it was the cable, as I reconnected the cable several times before everything is ok again. I am using a Logitech Pro 9000 with this cable now, already running two days, looks good, so maybe it was indeed because C310 is not very good to work with long USB extension cable. Pro 9000 is a very high quality product, I'll see how long it can run without problem.
