Overview
Are you looking for a PCMCIA Card with USB Ports?
Never be out of touch with your e-mail, VPN, chat, or other internet service again with this USB to Cardbus adapter for wireless 3G data cards. Newer notebook computers have phased out the PCMCIA (cardbus) slot in favor of the newer ExpressCard slot, leaving PCMCIA data card owners high and dry. Regain your access with this adapter that plugs into any available USB port!
This card works with a large number of cutting-edge wireless 3G cards. Please see the compatibility list on the specifications tab to see if your card is supported. Great for connecting laptops, desktops, or specialist systems (like point-of-sale systems), this U142 adapter will keep you connected when you need to be connected.

Pros:
Cons: Does NOT turn your USB port into a full-function PCMCIA slot. Appears to work only with wireless 3G data cards, and not WLAN or other PCMCIA cards. Read the documentation carefully.

Questions
Question:
Will the adaptor work with the Cingular GT combo edge on a HP DV6000?
Answer:
This adapter works with the GT cards listed in the supported cards list in the specifications. It may not work with all revisions or models so you'll want to check that list. Also, this adapter does not work with the Cingular connection manager software so you will only be able to connect to the internet through the cellular connection. Any other functions that the combo card has will not be accessible.

Question:
Will this adapter work with the sierra 875 and if not do you have something else that would work?
Answer:
Unfortunately, this adapter is not compatible with any of our USB to PCMCIA adapters, but we do have our Express Card to PCMCIA adapter that will work if you have an express card slot available. (with this product make sure to check the specifications tab to make sure it is compatible with your computer).
