"The entire process was perfect - good price, good quality, good service, quick delivery."

The SwitchDeck (3x1 HDMI Switch) supports signals up to 4K@60Hz, and allows you to switch between three HDMI sources to one HDMI display.

Note: Sewell HDMI Switches are all HDCP compliant which means that they do not strip or bypass HDCP. The SwitchDeck supports all versions of HDCP up to HDCP 2.2.

3x1 Distribution Amplifier

The SwitchDeck is an active 4K HDMI switcher (aka distribution amplifier) which means that it actively amplifies and equalizes the input signal in order to perform at maximum spec. This signal amplification means that you can use longer HDMI cable and achieve optimal results.

HDMI 2.0

The main spec to look for in a true HDMI 2.0 switch (including HDMI 2.0a and HDMI 2.0b) is the bandwidth spec. In order to achieve full 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 chroma, the HDMI Switch needs to support 18 Gbps bandwidth.

Why you would want 4K@60Hz vs 4K@30Hz?

As our TV's get bigger, so does their ability to display higher refresh rates. The SwitchDeck supports 4K@60Hz, while older switches only support up to 4k@30Hz, but why should you care?

HDCP 2.2 Compliance

The SwitchDeck is fully compliant with HDCP 2.2, but it is important to note that the new HDCP 2.2 standard is not backwards compatible with previous versions of HDCP.

This means that if one of the devices in your setup does not support HDCP 2.2, you will not be able to get a 4k@60Hz signal on your display. You will only be able to get up to 1080p.

Does what it's supposed to do -- Great Product

Pros: Good build quality, simple operation, perfect performance. Transmits 4K and HDR as advertised. My TV only had one HDR port, so this was a perfect solution to have my 4K Blu-Ray player and Nvidia Shield share said port.

Cons: It would be nice if a color other than white was available for this model.

Other: Second product I've gotten from Sewell, and have been impressed by quality of both. Will definitely look to your products for future projects. Reusable packaging was also a nice bonus!

Pros: Works exactly as described, this switch is perfect for people who’s 4K tv has only one 4K input, runs 4096x2160p at 60fps in 4:4:4

Cons: I wish the remote worked from farther away but that’s it

Other: Don’t waste your time with other switches that simply won’t compare, this switch is 100% legitimate

Pros: This switch is everything they claim it to be. Using it at church for switching between the iSing Apple TV and the sermon Powerpoint PC through a Sewell 4K SplitDeck one output of which going through a Sewell Echo Up/Dn Scaler to feed a large monitor for singers lyrics and the other feeding the projector. GET the Echo if you use this setup.

Cons: Happily none!

Other: All of these products are well engineered. I come from a design engineering background so I was impressed.

Works Great - As Promised

Matt - 10/21/2018 1:46:50 PM

Passes/switches the full signal from my Xbox One X, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. HDR games and 4K HDR discs work perfectly, as does SDR content. The included remote is fine, but I'm using my Harmony Elite and it works great.

Superb Product!

xAlias - 12/18/2017 12:10:06 PM

Stumbled across this product as I was looking for a solution to pair my Xbox One X and Nvidia Shield to my Atmos capable sound bar that had only one HDMI input. This has helped to remedy my situation of switching out the HDMI cables each time I needed to switch out the player.
