Question:

Hello, I am interested on getting this device for monitoring my Blackmagic Cinema Camera and converting the sdi signal from camera to HDMI and being able to connect to a monitor. That does work? This device works with Blackmagic? Because I found some comments from users, some of them say it works and for other it isn't and I would like to be sure before buying it. And if it does, I also should have to buy a usb battery supplier and I would need to know how many mA needs for working.

Answer:

I haven't heard of any issues with black magic specifically, and at this point with this product being fairly new it's difficult to project where any incompatibilities may lie, though I would expect that it should work fine. However, if you have any issues at all with compatibility for any reason you will have 90 days from the date of purchase to return the product for a refund. Also, the required mA for this item is 500, the same current provided from a standard computer USB port. In fact, it is a USB power cable provided with the unit as opposed to a wall adapter.
