![]() | We recommend using the Sewell Ghost Wire Terminal Block with this product. |
Make speaker wires disappear right on the wall or under the carpet with Sewell Adhesive Speaker Wire.
This super-flat speaker wire can be used on almost any flat surface. Perfect for running stereo signals across rooms, around corners, in automobiles, under flooring, or any situation where wires cannot be run through walls.
Clear backing allows wires to be simply attached and left uncovered, or it can be easily covered with paint, wall paper, or flooring making the wire virtually invisible.
Easy stick-on installation saves you from the difficult task of pulling wires through walls or attics. Simply peel back the yellow adhesive covering and stick the industrial strength self-adhesive side wherever you want it. No screwdrivers, hammers, or jigsaws required.

Installing Ghost Speaker Wire
- Peel back the top and bottom layers of the cable exposing the bare conductors
- Fold the conductors over 2-3 times and insert them into the Ghost Wire Terminal Block
- Tighten the screws on the terminal block to secure the cable
- Insert speaker cable and tighten screws
Running Ghost Wire Around Corners
We’ve had a lot of people ask us the best way to run Ghost wire around corners when running it along the floor.
Here’s how:
- Run the cable along the edge of the wall with the adhesive side (the side with the two copper strips) down
- Fold the cable back so the copper strips are facing up
- Fold the cable back down at a 45° angle, making a 90° turn

Cons: For how expensive this is, I was surprised that the product was only 49 ft 5 in, 7 inches short.

Pros: conveniently flat, ran this under the underlayment and laminate and was unable to tell it was there.
Cons: sewell does not make a block connector for the 4 conductor tape, so you have to use 2 separate blocks on each end, which takes up much more room than necessary and is not very well thought out.
Other: overall, this seems like a very good idea that was poorly executed. furthermore, it's expensive and seems like the users are field testing this, not using a polished, finished product.

Pros: Seems to be the perfect solution to hide unsightly Wires
Cons: Need to practice in order to turn corners before installing
Other: Initially bought this to do a Surround Sound Speaker setup but waited for my Landlord to get back from his vacation to ask him for permission. I was asked not to make alterations to his Apartment. So now I need to resell the Roll I purchased. What a bummer.
