Make your cable installation easier with Sewell’s RG59 plus Cat5e Siamese Cable. It features 20 AWG coaxial cable together with 24 AWG Cat5e cable on an easy-pull spool.

Putting Coaxial and Ethernet Cable Together

As we get more and more electronic equipment in our homes and buildings, we need more cables to connect everything together. In most installations it is easier to run data (Ethernet cable) and video (coax cable) together. Since these two signals don’t interfere with each other, both of these cables are usually terminated into a central panel, which acts as a kind of “hub” for all the data and video in that section of the building. To help you save time and make your installation easier, we have put the two different cables together on one spool.

Coaxial cable usually comes on spools, while Cat5e and Cat6 cables usually come in boxes. Since cables come out of boxes and spools so differently, it can make even smaller installations a pain. By putting both cables together onto one spool, it can more than cut your installation time in half.

Unterminated Cable

Using unterminated cable lets you decide how much you need for each application. You can also decide which kind of connecter is best for you. You can use F-type, BNC or RCA connectors. Terminating the cable is easy with our BNC or Coax connectors, available in both crimp and compression styles. All you need to do is properly strip the cable, plug it into the terminator, and lock it in place with the appropriate crimping tool.
