Overview

Redhead 15ft cables give you a thinner, more attractive, and more powerful alternative to traditional HDMI cables. All of these great features and 4k performance make Redhead cables the best way connect your HDMI devices.
Note: Redhead cables only work in one direction. The larger end connects to your TV and the smaller end connects to your source (like your Blu-Ray player, game console, satellite receiver, etc). To make your installation easier, each end of the cable is labeled. Hooking things up backwards won’t damage anything, it just won’t work.

Thinner
Redhead cables use Redmere technology to shrink them down to roughly 25% the thickness of regular HDMI cables. Thanks to the thinner diameter, you can bend these cables a full 180 degrees in only ¾ in. That means you can mount your TV that much closer to the wall.
Thinner cables also makes it easier to connect your portable devices to your TV. At lengths of up to 15 feet a Redhead cable is about the same size as the cable for your iPhone.
Go Farther
As with all cables, HDMI cables can only go so far without losing signal quality. For the best signal quality, it’s recommended to use an extender or active HDMI cable for any cable run longer than about 40-50 feet.
RedHead cables use a special chipset that improves bandwidth and extends the capabilities of the cable, allowing for sustained speeds of 3.4 Gbps per channel. That’s 10.2 Gbps in total. It also compensates for data loss from high signal speed, ensuring that you don’t lose signal quality. That translates into great signal quality over long distances. In fact, RedHead cables can transmit across distances of up to at least 60 feet without any loss in signal quality, and without the need for a repeater.
How it Works

Redhead cables use a Redmere chipset that improves bandwidth and extends the capabilities of the cable. Thanks to this chipset, the cable can be thinner and still go farther than regular HDMI cables. The chip goes in the sink-side connector (the connector that goes to your TV), which is why the cable only works one way. But, by putting the cable in this way, you don’t need an external power source for the chip. Learn more about how Redhead cables work.
Redhead cables are a great solution for wall-mounted TVs, portable devices, and anywhere you want your cables to be a little less conspicuous.

Pros: this is a great cable works great and I've used the red heads before and I really like them. Excellent cable for the price.
Cons: This cable was thicker than I thought it would be, the other red heads had a thinner cable. So beware if you want a thinner cable this is not as thin as the 15 6 or 3 foot versions of this cable.
Other: Other than the the thickness this is an amazing cable for the price and Sewell always does a god job with customer service I highly recommend this company for and home office or professional use.

Pros: I was skeptical that an HDMI cable with such a thin gauge would work reliably but this thing does for 4 different devices. I got it because I only have one small hole my cables all have to pass through and couldn't get 4 normal HDMI cables to work. (Yeah, I know I could have used a switch and I probably still will on one of my channels but I wanted the option to use the TV's built-in HDMI switching later if I ever needed it).
Cons: I didn't notice they're directional at first (you have to plug one end in to the source and the other into the display, you can't reverse it). I thought the cable was DOA but after realizing that and switching it around it worked perfectly.
Other: A great solution at a reasonable price.
