Yes, as long as the device itself doesn't utilize any force-feedback functions (i.e. vibrating controller), it should work fine.

Question:

I need this cable for an old Logitech Wingman Formula that has a 15 pin cable. Unfortunately this port is no longer standard in new PCs. Can you tell me if this adapter will be compatible?

Answer:

A lot of the Logitech Wingman Formula wheels have force feedback. If your unit has that, this will not work. If it doesn't have force feedback it should work fine for you.

Question:

Will this device support a midi/cable/adapter that uses the gameport?

Answer:

That would depend on the drivers used in your midi adapter. In general, we do not recomend using multiple levels of adapters as the likelihood of a successful adaptation becomes less likely with each level.

Question:

Is this adaptor will work with Ch Yoke and pedal for Flight simulator. It also have 10 buttons and a top hat 4 positions. I do not mind to loose few buttons as long as the yoke and pedals with the trootle work. I could also use an old PCi sound card but will I lost my onboard 5.1 dolby sound when I will install it.

Answer:

From your description it sounds like your joystick would be seen as having 5 axis. These adapters generally only work with 4. So most likely you would not be able to use your throttle or one of the pedals. The only way to ensure full compatibility with all the controls is to use a real game port.
