Pros: great little tool, it takes GPIB data and puts it out over IP. Works great for command-line access.

Cons: NI tools don't work with it.

I am looking to convert my Agilent 34970A data loggers to LAN; and would like to have the data accessible over the internet. So that many users can view the data when needed. Would this be the tool for me, to allow the GPIB output currently on the unit, to LAN? Would I need additional software, and/or additional equipment?

This will do the trick for that setup. You won't need additional software. Any information you would like, I would recommend downloading the user manual from the website under the overview tab for setup information and other useful knowledge about the device. Let us know if you have any other questions.
