HD-Link HL25, Wireless HDMI, up to 300ft.
Extend a 1080p HDMI signal wirelessly up to 300ft. The HL25 also features built-in IR extension so you can control the video source from the display location.
The sender and receiver come paired to each other out of the box, so there's no need to worry about any settings. All you have to do is:
- Connect the Sender unit to the video source.
- Connect the Receiver unit to the display.
- Optional: Connect the IR Receiver and Emitter cables if you need to control the video source from the display location.
The audio cuts out with distance, but that is fine. I am using this for my church. We are using it for video only. It isn't installed at the church yet, but tests at home are promising.
Been trying to get it to work properly, including trying to get meaningful support, but no luck. Audio and video are not in sync. There is no WiFi or any other signal operating within 30feet of unit. I have given up and consider this product to be sub-standard.
Purchased this to avoid wires. Device works but there are occasional "freeze-ups" and there is a 0.2 to 0.3sec delay between audio and video so that speech is never synchronized with lip movement - impossible to watch. Also the remote control IR signals are doubled at each click so channels change by 2, i.e. going to channel 2 results in channel 22, "next" takes you back to original channel, menus move up/down-left-right by two. Impossible to use this device even if you are willing to live with the lip-sound unsynchronized.
