  • How long can the composite AV cable be without signal degradation with the SW-23000 going to a CRT TV? I can use my main PC with a 75' or 100' AV cable. Otherwise I need a 2nd PC just for the TV. Thanks, Mike
    • Since composite is an analog signal, it handles long distances fairly well, but it is also difficult to give specifics about the upper limits. Technically any analog cable introduces some loss, but in normal circumstances it is negligible. Over long runs that loss can manifest in a loss of sharpness, static or the colors losing some of the brightness. However, if you are using a high quality composite cable and if you avoid sources of interference like motors, power wiring, microwaves etc. I would expect that 75 - 100 feet should still transfer a good image.
