What I carry

Pros: I love all the pockets and organizers. I carry a lot of stuff. The picture shows what I usually have with me daily (except I don't have my kindle today) and I can still add in extras like a change of clothes, a book or two, or whatever else I need. For a smallish backpack, it really holds a lot. And I can keep everything organized so that I can immediately grab tissues, or my headphones, or my ghetto toiletry bag. I can even send my kids or my wife for something and tell them exactly where it is (assuming I can describe which pocket) "In the top-front pocket, there's a little zipper pocket, inside that there's a black USB charger" (Well, at least I know where it is... )

Cons: I wish the pockets opened a little bigger, specifically I wish the main back pocket with the electronics and cable organizer would open all the way to lay flat while you get everything organized.

Other: I don't do a lot of long-term travel, but more for commuting, so I've repurposed a lot of the pockets. The boarding pass pocket in the front holds my tool kit. The passport pocket has short cables and adapters. The phone pocket holds hand sanitizer. And the sunglasses pocket I use to keep small quick access things like headphones, batteries, USB drives, and a little cash. Oh yeah, and the "water" bottle pocket.. usually has some form of Mtn Dew in it. :)

Favorite backpack of all time

Pros: I love the MOS pack for so many reasons. It looks sleek, it feels great to carry, it's durable, it helps me stay organized and its a MOS masterpiece. I get compliments on the bag often, and people love it even more when I show them the features.

Cons: The only downside to the bag is that it isnt the best for carrying a Macbook Pro and an iPad Pro simultaneously. Although, it isn't advertised as being able to, and I make it work so it doesnt bother me. Also, the front pocket with the flap is hard to access sometimes. Other than that, its perfect!

Perfect bag for traveling

Pros: I love my MOS Pack! I keep my laptop, ipad and iphone plugged in to the power strip inside the bag and when I'm traveling I just need to find one outlet and everything charges. My favorite things: It fits perfectly under the seat in front me (I fly delta but I think planes pretty much have standard seats in coach, right?) as an added benefit my last 3 delta flights all had a power outlet so I could plug the backpack on while onboard Dedicated passport pocket inside of the bag zips up - I keep my wallet and passport in there while I'm traveling and feel more secure knowing there are two zippers between my most important stuff and a would-be thief The water bottle pocket, which is internal, seems like it wouldn't hold a very big bottle of water but I threw a 34 ounce water bottle in there the other day and it was no problem.

Cons: I have to use my Macbook extension cable to get to the AC port (the brick falls off the side otherwise) The USB ports are hard to get to so I finally just got 2 dedicated lightning cables that stay in the bag. I wish it had another USB port so I could charge my power bank on the road.

Other: It's not the cheapest bag out there, but I highly recommend it for anybody who travels a lot.

One plug to rule them all

Jared - 9/8/2017 4:01:01 PM

This is my favorite backpack. I did make a few modifications to fit my needs as follows: I bought a large power bank and plugged that in to the provided extension cord because I needed more USB ports. There is a perfect little pocket for this, just opposite from the laptop and tablet slots. With that plugged in, I use the full outlet for my macbook charger, the other USB port to charge my iPhone, and I use the 2 USB ports on the power bank to charge my iPad pro and my Apple Pencil. The power bank supports pass through charging so all I have to do is make sure I turn it on before I plug in the mos pack. Since the cables aren't the easiest to put back in after they are all organized and managed inside the backpack, they remain dedicated cables for the bag. I don't mind this, as I can just pack up my bag before I go to bed and let everything charge inside the bag. As a student I love being on campus and only having to plug in ONE cable to an outlet and know it's charging all of my devices. It also seems really durable. I've only had it for a couple of months, but it's holding up really well. I'm able to fit all the above mentioned electronics inside, a couple of notebooks and folders, as well as pencils and some miscellaneous items. Highly recommend.
