C-Link CL10 by Sewell

HDMI and IR over coax, 330 ft.

"Very fast shipping. Good job!"

Overview

The C-Link sends HDMI signals over one Coaxial cable (BNC connection) up to 330 feet away. By using standard coax cables (75 Ohm RG-6U), the C-Link makes extending your HDMI signal less expensive and more robust than using optical fiber cable or other expensive cables.

How it works

The C-Link system consists of a sender and a receiver. The HDMI source (Blu-Ray player, cable box, gaming console, etc.) connects to the sender unit with an HDMI cable. The receiver unit connects to the display in the same way. The sender and receiver are linked through a coax cable.

One to many

You can use up to four extra receivers by chaining them together using the "Loop-out" port on each receiver to send the video signal to more displays.

Pros: Worked great, we had a jack that was loose on the sender but company quickly resolved the issue and sent us a new one

Cons: If you are going to run HD Over coax they offer a great solution so no cons in my book

Solved my HDMI/IR distribution problem

Pros: I have been looking for a product that would allow me to send the HDMI video from a surveillance system to various HD tv's. This product has worked extremely well. Easy to install and works as advertised. I have a 4k video system and used a 4k to 1080p down converter to send a 1080p signal to various HD tv's, while keeping my 4K signal on my main security monitor.

Cons: None so far.

Other: Tech support was very responsive and extremely quick to reply. Outstanding experience with Sewell products and support after the purchase.

Question:

I have attached this to a directv receiver and I am getting a great picture, but no audio. Any suggestions?

Answer:

I would recommend going into the directv cable box menu, access the audio settings and change the audio format from dolby to PCM. That might resolve your issue. If that does not work, let us know and we can dive into it a little deeper.
