Overview

This is a Receiver for an existing HL13 Setup. Use multiple of these HL13 receivers to create a custom HDMI splitter system over a TCP/IP network.

NOTE: We reccomend using the HL13 on a dedicated network switch because of the high bandwidth that video requires. You may use it on an existing network but you might experience network delays or heavy compression on the video.

How This Works

  1. If you are connecting multiple receivers to one sender, connect all units to the network switch.
  2. Connect your HDMI cables from the sender and receiver units to their respective display or source device.
  3. Plug in the included power supplies.
  4. Optional: Connect the included IR cables to control your source device from the display location.

Pros: Point to point it works fairly well.

Cons: Unlike the HDLink, the pro does NOT have an LED light to confirm that you have a signal. This was very helpful in troubleshooting in the past. Also, I have not been successful in ANY location using this product in a network setting. I have connected it to my own router and gotten three videos working very well. When plugging the sender in to a network at a school ...Any school, I have not been able to acquire a signal at any connection :(

Works perfectly as long as you have an older "dumb" hub connecting them together.
