Overview

Suggested solution: If you're looking to add a second external display, to either your laptop or desktop computer, we strongly suggest our more affordable USB to DVI display adapter

The DualHead2Go from Matrox is a revolutionary new device that allows you to add multiple independent monitors to your laptop or PC.

Simply plug the DualHead2Go into your existing VGA out port, connect up to two VGA monitors to the DualHead2Go, and install the included multi-desktop-management software. You'll immediately be able to double, or, if you have a laptop, even triple your current desktop space.

The Matrox DualHead2Go uses the output from your existing graphics hardware without loss of image quality or processing speed, so the more powerful your graphics card is, the better your multi-display environment will look. The DualHead2Go supports resolutions up to 2560 x 1024 in 16.7M colors at 60Hz stretched across two displays.

Note: Before you purchase the Matrox DualHead2Go, please check this compatibility tool to ensure that the DualHead2Go will work with your system.

Will this work if the input is coming from a KVM?

Unfortunately, we do not recommend connecting the Matrox DualHead2Go via KVM. We recommend connecting it directly to your video card for best results.

Question:

do you carry any product that works the same BUT allows for the monitors to placed up and down?

Answer:

Instead of using the Matrox DualHead2Go you could use our USB to DVI external video card. This will install as a seperate video port and you can place it in any orientation you'd like.
