Siamese Cable

Having power and data cables run together cuts your installation time in half by requiring you to run only one cable. The term “Siamese cable” refers to a type of cable that combines video and power into one package. That means that in addition to the RG6 video cable, there are also separately insulated power cables included in the cable. That allows you to provide the proper power to your equipment without interfering with the video signal.

Indoor Cable

Siamese cables give you the power to centralize your video and power distribution for your CCTV systems, and allows for more flexible placement of your security cameras.

RG59 has long been the standard for video distribution cabling that is both affordable and reliable. The 75 ohm RG59 coaxial cable consists of a center conductor, dielectric and two forms of shielding, an aluminum foil shield and a 95% braided wire shielding to protect your signal from EMI.

Our RG59 cables are coupled with stranded 18 gauge power cables. Combined with our BNC connectors and power terminal pigtail this will give you rock-solid connections for flexible and reliable installations throughout your building.

The 1000 foot cables come on a wooden spool marked at every foot, perfect for pulling on its own or loading onto your cable tree.

Outdoor Cable

This Siamese RG59 cable is specially designed for outdoor use. The cable comes equipped with two jackets for maximum protection from the elements. The inner jacket is made of PVC and the outer jacket is made with PE. The PE jacket makes the cable extremely resistant to cold weather, moisture, chemicals, abrasion, cutting, and even lightning; while the inner jacket adds additional protection to the conductors. With its durable construction you can rest assured that your cable will stand up to what ever Mother Nature throws at it.

Direct Burial

Outdoor cable runs have two obstacles to overcome: distance and the elements. Sewell’s Outdoor Direct Burial RG59 cable has been specially designed with added protection from the elements and electromagnetic interference to overcome these obstacles and give you the best possible signal.

This cable comes with a PE (polyethylene) jacket instead of the standard PVC jacket used in most coax cables. The PE jacket makes this cable extremely resistant to cold weather, moisture, chemicals, abrasion, cutting, and even lightening. It also has a special gel-like substance in the jacket that blocks water and moisture corroding your conductor and damaging your signal. If you bury your coax cable without this added protection you risk moisture and contaminates entering the cable and corrode your shielding and conductor.
