Not worth the price

Pros: NoneCons: Many of the connectors after crimping would just pull off the end of the wire with little effort (and yes, I was using the proper tool which I also bought from Sewell, and I know how to use it). It would take an average of 2-3 connectors (sometimes more) to finally get a good attachment to the end of the cable and even then many of them didn't provide a good connection and had to be replaced (necessitating another 2-3 connectors to be wasted before one would finally work). I would avoid these and spend some more money on higher-quality connectors that provide a positive crimp and good connection the first time.Other:

Be Aware!

Pros: CostCons: Must assemble contact pin to end of cable BEFORE inserting into connector. Not an easy process in field. Many compression tools will destroy metal shield around pin due to inside plastic ring.Other: Pictures & comments on web site should alert buyers to above considerations. Low purchase price is negated when field installation problems are encountered.

So sorry to hear about the issues that you've been having getting those compression fittings working in your install. Feel free to get in touch with our customer support department to arrange a return if you would no longer like any remaining plugs you have. We also carry crimp style connectors that you may find easier to terminate.
