Testing and Quality
Getting high-quality bulk cable can be tricky these days, so check out our comprehensive Fluke tests and standards with technical specifications in this PDF .
Meets Gigabit Standards
Cat5e (the 'e' is for 'enhanced') meets or exceeds 10/100/1000 mbps (1000Base-T Gigabit) standards, meaning if you install this cable, you will be prepared for the future. As average data speeds get faster on the internet, you'll know that your network isn't a bottle neck.
Easy Pull and no Tangles
With help from customer feedback, we've managed to perfect the pull-box so that you can grab one end and sprint to the end of your cable run without debilitating snags or tangles. We've also beefed up the jacket from past models to ensure its integrity no matter what your install style is.
Video: Distance and Speed Performance Tests
Most Bulk Cat5e CCA Cables only allow around 25 feet of transfer distance. Watch us take Sewell Cat5e CCA out to 500 feet in this video:Speed & Performance Tests over 500 ft.:

Pros: Great product quality. Pulls straight from the box, no dealing with reels of cable. Foot markings make it easy to know what to charge clients and/or make sure they get the actual length they need. Jacket is high quality, unlike some of the stuff they carried at Menards (don't laugh, I needed cable quickly).
Cons: I don't like the string in the cable. The white + color wires seem to be colored with a straight line, rather than the color twisting around the wire. You have to move the wire around to see if it is a colored wire or a color + white wire.
Other: Great quality, fast shipping, and the shipping is not over priced like with some dealers.
Nice to work with

Pros: Doesn't kink or hold its curl once out of the box. Strands are all well colored and easy to identify.

Pros: This is great cable, the jacket cracks nicely with a soft scoring, the conductor colors are nice and bold making it easy to see and terminate in a darker location... And the conductors flatten out nice for RJ plugs... And finally, the box is STURDY! And it pulls perfect!
Cons: No Cons at all! At roughly $60 per 1000ft... And quality to boot! C'mon!!!

1) Price 2) Quality is just right. Copper wire isn't as thing as some other competitors. Outer casing is strong and comes in white color, which is hard to find in stores. 3) Unlike other brands, Sewell actually puts easy th understand footage marks 0 -1000 ft so you always know how long the run was and how much you have left. Tired of bulk wire running 6-7 digit ft numbers like 6645895...

Good quality cable. I was worried because of the price with what I would end up with but after running a few 100 feet of it I was very impressed.
