Nice Equipment

Pros: Compact, esy to move around, works on both 110 and 200 voltages. Good picture.

Cons: Strange layout of plugins both on front and back. Nothing significant though. Poor instruction booklet, mostly "how to" pictures. Easy to work around the booklet though.

Other: It works as advertised. I use it in the middle east for showing powerpoint presentations while training security forces. The HDMI setup is nice and makes it really easy for computer to large screen TV use. I'm contemplating purchasing the uper level model for my home.

Pros: Plug and play set up with a great picture.

Cons: None that I have found.

Other: It may be a little on the expensive side but the ease of use and the picture quality more than compensates for the price.

Question:

My laptop has vga output, single audio headphone jack.. I understand Atlona conv has single audio input jack but calls for l/r audio cable to single audio input.. can I go single jack to single jack on this convert.. do I have to have single to splitter back to single? also, after connecting, does audio go through hdmi ONLY to tv, or need xtra audio cables?

Answer:

Yes, you can connect the single audio cable on your laptop to the audio input on the converter. It will send the audio through the HDMI cable, but also has audio outputs (stereo jack and toslink optical) that you could connect to an AV reciever or other speaker system.

Question:

I have a 65" DPL HDTV 1080p that I would like to hook my computer to from VGA to HDMI. I am concerned about the end quality of the picture using this device. Would you recommend a different converter, or will this do the job giving me 1080p picture quality?

Answer:

this is the highest end VGA to HDMI converter that we currently sale and it produces a very nice/high quality image.
