Overview

Tested By Us

We've tested this unit ourselves and deem this USB to HDMI solution by Atlona the best on the market yet. It performed perfectly delivering 720p video as advertised with chrystal clear audio integrated with the video through the HDMI-out. This USB to HDMI solution works equally well with PCs and Macs. The adapter syncs audio and video perfectly. We are very impressed.

How This Works

Setting this external video solution is easy. You will need to install the driver onto your computer with the included CD. You then simply connect it to your computer using the included USB and 3.5mm audio cables. The converter gets the video data through your USB port using the superior DisplayLink chip, and integrates the audio, giving you a single HDMI line to your HDTV with both audio and video.

You can have up to 6 HDTVs hooked up to one computer with 6 USB to HDMI adapters (4 for Macs).

Question:

Will I be able to see the images from my blue-ray disc on my notebook on my hd tv?

Answer:

Yes, you connect this device through a USB port on your computer and then connect the device to your TV through HDMI and you can see what is on your computer and hear the audio from the computer be outputted to the TV.

Question:

Will the AT-HDPIX segregate a digital audio signal from a HDMI source (DVR), and send it to a Bose Companion 5 speaker system via the USB port?

Answer:

If i understand your question correctly, you are trying to take hdmi from your dvr and connect it through usb to your bose system. This product does the opposite of that. It takes video and audio from your computer via the usb port and 3.5mm jack and combines it onto a single hdmi signal.
