Overview

Enjoy uncompressed CD quality sound without the hassle of cords with Amphony's H500 5.8 GHz Digital Wireless Headphones.

The H500s include a 5.8GHz transmitter with a 150 feet of unobstructed range and a 40-foot range through walls and ceilings. This higher, more compact frequency ensures freedom from interfering signals from the plethora of popular 2.4GHz wireless devices (including wireless telephones). Additional RangeBooster transmitters (SW-6370) allow you to extend your range indefinitely!

Amphony Wireless Transmitter, 5.8GHz

Boasting a full spectrum of true digital sound with crisp highs and deep lows, the H500s don't take a back seat to anybody. Throw in Amphony's error correction mechanism and over 100 hours of listening time and the freedom only wireless headphones can provide and the H500s are a winner.

Pros: I have had a pair of Amphony headphones for years and I am so pleased by the clarity and range that I just bought another pair for my Son-in-law for Christmas so he can watch TV at night with great sound and not disturb anyone in the house. They are great

Cons: Sometimes you have to move the batteries to make them work if the batteries are starting to get weak

Pros:

Cons:

Other: I was looking for a headset to use with the TV at night. I tried Amphony 500 and found audio frequency band really narrow. Not a "CD quality" at all. I also tried Amphony 2500 and it is much much better. Dull sound of the 500 seems to be more of a problem with the headset acoustics rather than the transmitter, since when the 2500 headset is fed the signal off the 500 transmitter it does sound much better than 500 headset playing the same signal. If you are looking for a quality headset and do not want to be disappointed, skip 500 and buy 2500. 500 sounds like a telephone speaker, 2500 as a mid-range wired headset.

Pros: Ordered because my Amphony 2.4 GHz Digital Wireless Headphones, which I dearly love, are unuseable because of my 2.4 GHz wireless internet Access Point and my cordless telephone; and the Amphony 2.4 GHz wipes-out my new Netflex Roku set-top movie box's wireless access.

Cons: Received Model 500 quickly - didn't work. Noise & very little audio.

Other: RMA'd over five weeks ago never to be heard from again! Will be disputing the cc charge. Sewell Note: Customer's return was processed several weeks ago and a refund was promptly issued to his credit card the same day. The customer has been contacted to resolve this concern.
