3.5 mm Mini Stereo to Dual RCA (Red and White) Cable - 6 ft.
Most PC to TV converters take care of video and leave the audio up to you. This adapter is what you need to bring audio from your notebook, PC, or CD player onto big audio sound systems. How it works:
No software is required because this is a transparent adapter. Just plug in both ends and you're good to go.

Pros: Does what it's supposed to. High-quality connectors. Great price.
Other: I needed to connect a CD player to a stereo system with RCA inputs and found this product. It worked great. The connectors feel solid in the plugs and the price was great.

This 3.5 mm Mini Stereo to Dual RCA Cable [6 ft.] is just what I needed to connect my Sewell Component to Composite with Down Scaling converter box (which only has a 3.5 mm audio output) with my standard RCA audio jacks. Very reasonably priced, this item works well – and the extended warranty (just $0.59 for 3 extra years) is an added bonus!

When I ordered this converter they recommend that you purchase the wire as well glad the did. Good price and very convent.
May I ask what is the black cable for?
We assume that you are talking about the connection on the picture all the way to the right that has 2 small black rings around the gold? If this is what you are asking, the cable is setup like this: to connect to something like an mp3 player (gold end with 2 black rings) and then the ends that have the red and white plastic above them would connect to something like a surround sound system or the auxilary connections on a stereo.
