"Very prompt delivery and excellent product."

The 1x2 SplitDeck supports full HDMI 2.0 specs, meaning resolutions up to 4K@60Hz, 4:4:4 Chroma, and HDR. It allows you to send the same signal to 2 HDMI displays.

Note: Sewell HDMI Splitters are all HDCP compliant which means that they do not strip or bypass HDCP. The SplitDeck 1x2 supports all versions of HDCP up to HDCP 2.2.

1x2 Distribution Amplifier

The SplitDeck is an active splitter which amplifies and equalizes the input signal in order to perform at maximum spec. The signal amplification lets you use longer HDMI cables and achieve optimal results. This also means that if you are running multiple displays with different resolutions, the splitter will send the lowest "common" resolution to all displays.

For example: If you have a 4k and a 1080p TV, the splitter will send 1080p to both unless you use a downscaler between the splitter and the 1080p TV to "trick" the Splitter into thinking both displays support 4k.

HDMI Splitter

HDMI 2.0

The main spec to look for when trying to find a true-HDMI 2.0 splitter (also including HDMI 2.0a and HDMI 2.0b) is the bandwidth spec-- it should be 18 Gbps. If an HDMI splitter passes this bandwidth, it can achieve full 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 chroma.

Pros: Well made solid construction. Power On/off switch, miniature low level blue led's indicate power, in connection, channel 1 & 2 out connection activity. Small footprint.

Cons: Not a big deal but you have to make sure you push in the power connecter all the way otherwise it can slip out easily. This connector could be a tighter fit, best to duct tape it so it won't slip out.

Other: I used it to connect my Xbox One X to both a 4K monitor and a 1080P TV - Line in from the Xbox, Line 1 to 4K monitor, Line 2 to 1080P TV (HDMI 2) I left the HDMI 1 on the TV connected to the cable box. When I want to use Xbox on 4 K monitor I power on the Sewell Splitter and log in to my Xbox and it is 4K on the monitor only. When I want to have 1080P resolution on both the TV and the Monitor I turn on the 1080P TV set input to HDMI 2 and turn on the Sewell Splitter and log on to Xbox - The blue led lights indicate connections, and it saves me from connecting and disconnecting madness. By the way after 4 or 5 hours of constant use there was no excessive heat either from the splitter or other connections. ??

Pros: Have long run from Dish box to TV and it works perfect 99% of the time.

Cons: Occasionally have experienced a flash of color when changing channels. Did not occur on previous Splitter from Sewell.

Pros: Yup, those are goodl

Cons: worked 100 % OK for a couple days , since then it has been dropping signal every once in a while, leaving a black screen for some seconds before reconnecting ! VERY ANNOYING.

Other: It looked like it might be a quality product, But I think I made a mistake buying this item. I would not recommend it to anyone !

Great Product!

Worked perfectly as described! Splitter input is connected to a satellite TV box. One splitter output is connected to a TV in the room with the cable box and the other output is connected to a monitor in another room at the other end of a 50 foot HDMI cable. Video quality is excellent.
