Jon Peddie Research says having dual monitors can increase work productivity and efficiency 20 percent to 30 percent regardless of what tasks or job they are used for. Consider comparing two sets of data, or transferring information from one program or window to another. Instead of printing out both documents, tab easily between the two windows. Programming is easier as well because the code can be shown in one window while the result can be shown in another.
Between the two screens, there is a total diagonal viewing area of 28.8" and a total screen resolution of 2560-x-1024 pixels. The two 17" LCD panels in this dual display are premium ultra-thin Samsung screens and come on a desk-top stand as seen in the picture.
Each panel has (1) analog RGB (VGA-type D-sub HD15) connector and (1) digital DVI-D connector. The total weight for the unit with out cables is 22.8 lbs. The height is adjustable between 13"(min) and 20"(max)and there are ultra-thin 0.43" screen bezels. The contrast ratio for each Samsung LCD 1000:1, have a maximum colors of 16.7 million, aspect ratio is 4:3, and the display panel type is a-si TFT/TN.
