Wireless internet is everywhere these days, provided you're at home or within the limited range of a Wi-Fi hot spot. Using the GSM/GPRS network (the same one your cell phone uses) and your SIM card, this modem will connect you to the internet literally anywhere in the world you receive a cellular (GSM/GPRS) signal.
Simply insert your SIM card into the modem, plug it into an available
USB port, and you have full internet access. Using the included headset, you also retain complete functionality of your cellphone, including SMS, fax, text, and image applicatons.
This adapter supports GPRS multi-slot class 10 and GPRS mobile station class B. It is also compliant to GSM phase 2, 2+ and 2- control via AT commands. The tri-band receiver works at GSM frequencies of 900, 1800, and 1900MHz.
