Switch and Extend
The Manhattan VGA switch/extender is perfect for video switching projects that require more than one source on a shared display, such as a projector or monitor. For your convenience, a booster/repeater is built into the switch so it doubles as an extender. Take your VGA signals up to 150 ft. away from your sources. There will be no need to buy a bunch of repeaters for your VGA sources or a booster to extend your display.
Installation Is Simple
With the included cables, connect your VGA sources to the Manhattan Video Switch/Extender. The switch supports VGA, SVGA, XGA, and MultiSync video sources. Each cable connected to your sources includes a remote for switching between sources.
Connect your projector, monitor, or other VGA display device to the switch using your own monitor cable. Switch simply by using the push button control attached to each of the included cables.
Extending Your Sources and Display
The switch extends the signal from your sources over 15 meters (about 45 feet) and boosts the signal to your display over 35 meters (about 105 feet), for a total of 50 meters (150 feet).
If you wish to extend your sources further than 6 feet from the switch (the included cables are 6 feet long), you will need to use your own cables. The switch box has male connectors for the sources, and the included cables with built-in remotes are male to female. To extend the switch further from your sources, use Male to Female Cables of up to 15 meters (35 feet).
The display (video-out) port on the switch is female. To extend your display, you will need your own Male to Male Monitor Cable of about 35 meters (105 feet).
