Description

This amazing enclosure allows you to swap SATA hard drives without the need to shut off or reboot your computer. SATA has many advantages over typical IDE drives due to SATA's faster speeds and accuracy. The SATA protocol is being integrated more often into newer computer systems because SATA can transfer more and can support higher capacity hard drives than standard IDE.

This swappable Hard Drive rack allows you to easily remove your SATA hard drive to swap or secure it elsewhere. The case includes a cooling fan and, as an added feature, it has an LCD display which displays temperature and other vital information. For security, this drive includes a 3-step key lock to hold your drive in place.

With SATA you can transfer up to three times faster than USB 2.0. That's up to 1.5 GB/sec! Never worry about over-heating because this enclosure has a temperature alarm to ensure your drive doesn't explode.
